Biogas

When we know that the source of fuel supplies in the world and the numbers have been thinned out, we are required to be able to find substitute fuels from fuel oil. Imagine if we did not have the fuel to another while the amount of fossil fuel has run out, what will we use to turn our cars, light up our homes, run the production company?

Is true that fossil fuels will run out of oil or the amount in the wild?
of course we can say yes! it is due to fossil fuel generated takes millions of years ago from the decay of organic material embedded in the earth and in the world are very limited in number and can not be renewed.

In the present day with high world oil prices, people find other solutions to find fuels other than oil in meeting their needs at a price that is cheap and easy to make, such as developing BIOGAS.
Biogas is energy produced from waste biomass such as straw, husks, leaves assortment of vegetables and livestock manure.

Biogas technology

Methane formed by the fermentation process is anaerobic (without air) by methane bacteria called biogas, anaerobic bacteria and bacteria that reduce waste that contains organic matter (biomass), forming methane (CH4), which when burned to produce heat energy .
With certain technologies, methane can be used to drive turbines that generate electricity, run the refrigerator, hatching machines, tractors, and cars. Simply put, methane can be used for cooking and lighting gas stoves as well as LPG.

Biogas generator tool

Biogas generator tool is divided into two types: Type floating and fixed dome type. The type of float is made by digging a well cemented and stored thereon drum floating upside down to accommodate the gas produced. While this fixed dome type built by digging the soil and make a building shaped like an air cavity and structured like a dome

In the methane digester bacteria to process waste or biomass and produce methane biogas. With a pipeline that is designed in such a way, the gas can be flowed into the stove is located in the kitchen. Gas can be used for cooking and others. Biogas is produced by mixing waste consists mostly of cattle dung with small pieces of crop residues, such as straw, and so on, with plenty of water.

For the first time it would take approximately two weeks to one month before the beginning of the gas produced. The mixture was always added every day and stirring occasionally, while the treated expenditures incurred through the channel. The rest of the waste that has been digested by bacteria or bacterial methane biogas, called slurry or sludge, have the same nutrient content of organic fertilizer as well as mature compost that can be directly used to fertilize crops, or if it will be stored or sold can be dried in the sun before being put into a sack.

For starters it is needed the cost to build the plant (digester) biogas is relatively large for the rural population. But once established, the tool can be used and produce biogas for many years. For the size of 8 cubic meters dome type tool, suitable for farmers who have 3 or 8 cows or goats, 100 chickens on the side also has adequate water resources and waste biomass crops as a complement. Each unit is filled with 80 kg of cow dung mixed with 80 liters of water and pieces of other wastes to produce 1 cubic meter of biogas that can be used for cooking and lighting.
