What Is Energy ?

Energy is a concept Which one would be difficult to understand, because we never saw the physical form of energy, but we only get to see the impact of energy and we can provide value to the result. Scientists tells us that energy is an ability to do work or events and activities. Examples of when we would go to work, we use a car to get to work, the car will not move if there is no energy produced from the combustion of gasoline.
In our life energy is divided into two, namely:
kinetic energy
Kinetic energy is the energy contained in a moving object, for example: when we banged a baseball bat toward the ball will move, move the ball well in the turns are kind of kinetic energy that moves the ball

potential energy.
Potential energy is energy stored in objects that are not moving. Example: when we are playing at the lake or dam we found a vast expanse of water there contains several million cubic meters of water that has a stored energy because of water retention, but when we put up the turbine and the water is released, the water will be able to produce energy!
So the kind of energy that we can know that the silence of the water retained by the dam is potential energy, whereas when water flows through the turbine it will be transformed into kinetic energy.
So everything has energy, it's just a different kind of energy.
Let us consider the law of thermodynamics, which states that "energy can not be created, nor be destroyed"
So does the amount of energy in the world is fixed, increased or decreased?
If we look at the law of conservation of energy, then we can know that the amount of energy it fixed, not increased or decreased. But the energy will always change its shape alone, there are instances in our environment solar energy that can be captured by solar cells that can then be transformed into electrical energy and then into the fan, then of electrical energy transformed into energy of motion that can produce wind, but does you know that the machine that moves will result in heat being released into the environment?
So from these examples can be explained to us that the energy that comes from the environment will come back to the environment so that the amount of energy will remain just that increases or decreases the shape will change.
Another example is the process of photosynthesis and respiration in plants. Which plants can perform photosynthesis only during the day only.
Why does the process of photosynthesis only during the daylight, whether at night time can not?
Well to answer that we must first know the meaning of photosynthesis, photo means light while synthesis is the process of breakdown or alteration. In plants, this process requires a material that is: water, carbon dioxide and sunlight. In the daylight, there will be in the sun a source of energy that can be used in the process of photosynthesis to form sugars (glucose) and oxygen, glucose and oxygen which compounds will be used for the process of respiration which will produce an energy that can be used in the process activity of plant growth and development.
So what to do with the amount of energy it anyway???
Now we can see the process of photosynthesis, there is energy taken from the environment, from the sun. Then the artifacts energy is released back into the environment of the process of respiration, because when plant respiration process releases the heat released into the environment. Heat is a form of heat and heat is energy!
Thus, the amount of energy in the process anyway, not decreased and increased only in the form of a changed or different.
